Business Ethics and Compliance
Kaman values excellence across all operations through our commitment to ethical behavior, customer service, innovation, and prudent financial management.
Kaman has an established Code of Conduct and Compliance program. We strive for 100% participation of all employees and directors for annual compliance training. Kaman has local advocates to ensure all voices within the organization are heard. Our Code of Conduct can be found here.
Our Ethics hotline is available 24/7/365 to report a concern or potential violation. Contact the Ethics Hotline toll-free at 1-866-450-3663 or online here
We are committed to compliance at every level of our business as it relates to anti-trust, export control, and anti-bribery. These laws are complex and their impact can be significant. Kaman has created several guides to help our employees understand and navigate these topics.
Kaman complies with Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act regarding the sourcing of tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold from certain mines within the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We continually strive for conflict-free sourcing and do so through annual surveys of our supply chain. See our latest Conflict Minerals policy and report below:
Kaman believes that basic human rights are essential and does not assist in any human trafficking or child labor, nor do we condone such acts by our suppliers or business partners. Kaman has issued several policies on Human Trafficking and Child Labor, which can be accessed here:
We hold our supply chain to the same standards we hold ourselves. Our quality expectations are flowed down to our suppliers through our standard T&Cs and Supplier Quality Requirements Manual, which are located on Kaman’s website. Selection of new suppliers is equally robust and incorporates a Supplier Quality Risk Management process.
